After getting his undergraduate degree in communications, Gazi started his career in media at Sabah newspaper and MMC, working at both companies as ‘Advertising Sales Representative’. In 2002, he started working at Universal McCann Istanbul. He spent 9 years at this agency, during which he held several positions. He started as ‘Research Assistant’, moved into the planning function as ‘Media Planner’ and became a ‘Media Group Head’, finally obtaining the ‘Media Director’ position, in charge of the leading clients of the agency. During 2010, Gazi spent 9 months at the London offices of Universal McCann, working in charge of media coordination for Brown Forman and Exxon Mobil in the EMEA Region. Gazi’s experience in campaign management, coupled with his love of the media business, got him the well-deserved position as ‘Partner’ in charge of analytics at yurddas + partners.

Gazi enjoys spending time outdoors. He is an avid animal lover, especially dogs, and regularly goes out of his way to feed the many street dogs of İstanbul.
